OT: Tomato Grown in an Earth Box

Our daugher grew this tomato in an Earth Box sitting on her deck. Requires no weeding. Hal
PS: The potting mix is good for 5 years before replacing.

Just think what we could accomplish if we covered half of Iowa with earth boxes.

One red tomato.

Hey guess what, I grew a tomato in the spot they were last year and I didn't even plant or water it.

That looks like a great tomato and picked at the height of ripeness which makes for the best tomato.

Dang shame the soil mix only lasts 5 years. Conventional garden soil will last centuries as long a some amendments and nutrients are added.
