Thanks for you good ol boys for limiting your unmuffled pickyups exhaust pipes to just two. I realize you must know that if two unmuffled gives your truck and ego more power, 4, 6 or 8 pipes would be even better. I appreciate your concern for the rest of us, sparing all that much more noise. My hearing aid thanks you, I thank you. Leo

I did even better Leo, I got mine down to just ONE unmuffled straight pipe...of course it is on a 99 dodge with a cummins diesel...and thanks, I love the way it sounds, it isn't that loud.

I am telling you it IS NOT that loud. Now we straight piped a friends 06...holy smoke it was deafening. I tried to get him to put it back and he refuses.

I don't run straight pipes anymore for two reasons:

One, there are too many cars, and no one cares about me standing out in my straight pipe noise maker.

Two, for the reason stated above, my vehicle doesn't need to make the sound of 48277853798908723907987 cars ANY louder.

Us to, a 96 dodge Cummins Diesel running with a straight pipe. Sure purrs nice on those hard long pulls with a stock trailer

That's good it's not loud,,, but now,,, Holy Smoke,,, interesting,,, as I see that came from Isaiah 6: 3 and 4 ==> many thousands of years ago ===> and is used quite often.

I guess I've turned into a grumpy old man. I used to appreciate the decades old glass packs but in general anymore any noise bothers me. I'm 62 but my hearing seems more to have improved than be failing.

What I simply cannot stand are what they call the European mufflers. Horrible sound. Also unmuffled Harleys. They actually cause ear pain when they pass while opening up their engine and I have my window down.

Best exhaust sound was on a Massey Harris 21A combine. Chrysler industrial flathead 6 with a 3 inch straight pipe clear to the top of the combine and then some.

Vroom, vroom.

Are you the one creature referred in 6.2 with the six wings ?

Just because your Mom And Dad was Joseph and Mary don't make you God.
