2,4,D price in your area

I'm being encouraged to start using 2,4,D with banvil in place of roundup. What does this sell for in your area?

I assume your going to use it on corn? Be carefull with Banvil as it can cause stalk brittle snap problems in some hybrids if used at to high of a rate.

Banvel has a tendency to drift if the temps get very warm with the result of crop damage to neighbors.

$12.14 per gallon in 2.5 gallon jugs here. That was about a month ago when I bought it. That is for the Amine. LV is slightly higher. I find that roundup (glyphosate) works a lot better in late summer for weed kill around the farm yard than 2,4-D. In the spring when weeds are young and tender the 2,4-D works a lot better than later in the summer.

Amine 2,4D is around $17.00 a gallon and
LV 400 2,4D is $22.00 here in Highland, IL.

I was using it on the white clover in my yard this spring and it worked for a while. An agronimist told me to drag an old bed spring over the clover first to injure it and the 2,4D will work much better.
I haven't convinced my wife yet that we need a new bed spring and mattress.

2,4,D with dicamba(Banvel) is brand named as Weedmaster or Rangestar around here. Rangestar goes for about $55/gallon.
