I'm tempeted, really, really tempted.....

We"re heading down to Bloomington Sat morning. Coming right up to St Cloud to catch 94. I could pick you up and you could just road it home..

Seriously though, if its in good running order and you could plan a route, driving it might be your cheapest bet.

Don't know much about the machine but I got that Perkins in my 750 Massey and it is absolutly trouble free. Plenty of power, easy on fuel and tough as nails. I agree with brokenwrench. It's got tires and a steering wheel so just drive it. Boy that looks like a clean machine for the money.

If you can't drive it home, it'll likely be a permit load. I don't see them often , but I recall bein' passed by a a hot dog haulin' a big CIH for a custom outfit. Lowboy with outriggers and the tires let down to almost flat to make the overhead clearance.

Drive the combine and put both heads on a truck. We picked up a new Oliver 7600 one time in Columbus, drove it 140 miles all in one day and then found out a couple of days later that it was the wrong combine so drove it back to Columbus on another day.

Like others said, haul the heads on a trailer and drive the combine. Friend of mine drove a WD Allis from other side of Little Falls to my place. Said it was a nice little drive. Looks like a pretty darn nice machine for that money. I think I'd make a deal!

Sounds like a good one, but if you miss it, I have a Oliver 7600 with a 318 gas and a 704a corn head running for $500. 7 miles south of Mora, MN.

I probably wouldn't have said that, but I just drove back from St. Croix Falls this afternoon. WAY too much traffic to suit me! Import w/ Cali plates passed me at 75+ in a 55 zone. And I'd love to nail the brakes w/ my F350 when I'm being tailgated...that Schuck drawbar in the reciever would make a good impression in their grill!

owned one of those new off lot, worst machine ever had fars as dependability. Old Oliver 500 series had very good luck with. when the four diget series units came out had nothing but troubles. thats when we went to deere brand units never went back. get you a 20 series deere and be alot happier . seems high just my opinion good luck

My buddy is doing the 2000 mile harvest and he drove one 300 miles with the grain head on a trailer behind him. All in one day. I guess it was tough on the tires though.
