Murphy's Law!!

I was going to blame today's problem on Alan, but after a great deal of reflection, he wasn't here. He was home banging his fingers together,
struming on his GEET TAR. Now I went to hook up the heater hoses on the 706,Got it going ok but then one of the shut off valves Leaked. NO it wasnt because I didn't use sealer on the valve,It was the da#%@ valve , Cracked inside the thread pattern Both sides, (China Valves).
Got that fixed ,Now the heater core Leaks some where, Gonna fix that tomorrow when it rains.
Got to un bolt, un-solder it And try try again.
My son asked me if the new valve was opened . Yep I said. Still no heat. Well It sure as He@@@
wasn;t. DUMB DUMB DUMB. He opened the valve ,sure enough Heat (Ever so slight) bet the previous owner didn't put in a thermostat after he put in a new Radiator. Now it's disassembly
all over again to do the deed. The books doesn't give a hint to the thermostat temp in a 263 gas.
Would ask Alan, but I know he is busy learning new chords on his GEET TAR :). Any way, I guess I'll just muddle through it come heck or High water, Rain in the forcast tomorrow.
Mabey sat. WHO KNOWS??

Wasn't too hot here today. Went out and hired a new crop adjuster, looked at some wheat that could not be harvested due to wet weather. It had rained every other day all through harvest time. Maybe 25 bu wheat, but the ragweeds had grown two feet higher than the wheat.

What a mess.

Temp was 72d tomorrow 64. Need heat. Winters just around the corner folks. doing the boy scout thing, BE PREPAIRED. Looks like 180 will go in. Thanks!!!/ Gotta stay warm while pushing snow. LOU

yep time to think about getting that heater working.
me on the other hand will still be messing around with the loader on on the 730 when i have 6 inches of snow on the ground and the heat houser will be buried under something in the barn.

This is Murphy's law at work.

Went to fill the tractor fuel tank to go baling, bout 4 gallon, then the storage tank went empty, phone for new diesel delivery, got to hear not till tommorow.
try'd to start tractor to go baling anyway, klick klick, battery dead, started fine 15 min before.
Boosted batt, klick klick. tryed at the starter with screw driver.tractor started.
Stepped in the cab, no gauges working. checked fuses,1 blown, replaced it, still no gauges.
F it, went baling anyway.
Bout 1 hr later i stepped out to check the twine box in the baler, upon turning back to the tractor I noticed a small stream of antifreeze squirting out of the rad hose.I had NO GAUGES remember.Engine was perty hot by then.I shut the tractor off,THEN i noticed the key was still OFF.The reason for no gauges. While walking back to the house it started raining.

Now wait just a darned minute here!

I wouldn't be caught dead "strumming". :>)

Nothin' telegraphs "I don't know what I'm doing" louder than someone standin' there beatin' on the silly thing like a windmill pump-jack. :>)

But yer right; I'm working on those pesky outside diminished chords. :>)

Allan

Hey Alan.Right you are about the strummers. Those who strum don"t realize there are more then 3 chords.Wind mill Jacks are truly a modest discription of ear ring wearing mobsters. Sometimes I long to hear guitar Players Like Wes Montgomery,Kenny Burell.but those days are long gone . I just might install a disc player in the 706 so as I can re live memories of great music as soon as the bugs are worked out of it.
Happy to know your working on those pesky deminished chords. Would like to hear ya sometime. An audio would be welcomed !!!!
I"m sure you will accomplish that endeavor, as you have with tractors and farm Machinery.
Thanks for all the information you provide on this forum.

Can't be all bad. Jim Reeves once said he made a million dollars off of a C chord.

Think it was a rather odd and somewhat misplaced (for the time period anyway) B-minor chord in the tune "Four Walls".

That unique change up totally makes that song. :>)
