This is a true story. Remind me to tell you the story about the cat getting in my j3 cub
airplane with me here in Arizona sometime.

If you butter a cat's back and drop him out of an airplane, will he land on his feet or with butter side down???

Please tell us the story about the cat and the J3. I have many J3 hours and can just imagine a mad cat at 500 feet. (Dont think you can get much higher than that with a cat flying all over the place.) Henry

I guess first 2 replys too long. I owned a J3
cub 21 years. I had the whole right side open.
I flew over to a cropduster's hanger. While I was in his office his cat climbed in the plane. He clawed me up and jumped out at about 200 feet.
I didn' know what had me.

Stray lovers shouldn't complain, cat was wearing a chute,~~~{GRIN}

Man could you see the destruction if it landed on someone and clawed them up?, OOOoooooohhhh!!

Not quite the same thing but...I was flying a
Schweizer 1-26 sailplane a few years ago in Fl.
On take off, on tow about 200 ft in the air, a large green frog came out of the air vent and started jumping up and down in my line of vision. Startled me so bad I almost pulled the rope release. I would have landed in a bunch of scrub so I ignored the frog and flew the plane.
Afterwards we never could find the frog. Probably bailed out. Had to ignore a lot of kidding about adding frogs to the preflight check list.
