O.T. fire

been complaining about the drought here on our area of the gulf coast told my buddy no more mowing till we get rain. this morning nieghbor made about 3 rounds before the fire started lucky we are right at city limits only got about acre and a half. batwing mowers can spark just trying to tell everybody to be safe.

Bad down here in the valley too. We have been under a burn ban for several weeks (no burning, and no burn permits being issued) yet every day it seems someone starts a fire from burning trash. Funny thing, it's been one year and a few days since Dolly rolled through here and we thought all that water would never go away. Well it did, and now we could use some more.

Had a very close neighbor start a fire with the haybine a couple weeks ago , got pretty scary, burned about 15 acres and the haybine, but no houses or buildings. it finally rained here last week and most verything is starting to turn green again. Hope it keeps raining. Glad to hear yoou had no major damage also.
