the only offset John Deeres were the Yanmar-made ones.

We have one and it seems like it is offset a little, I will have to take a serious look next time I have it out! Question, did they only have one headlight?

Yes, the M is offset slightly. Yes, the original is one headlight up front on the left with another pointing forward mounted at the right rear.

I think the offset is about 6", not enough to call it an offset tractor as the ones called that you could watch the corn row in cultivating without it being completely under the belly of the tractor.
