puttin a loader on a ford 4000

hey yall im putting loader on my 1975 ford 4000 and i need to know how to hook up the lines there is a control valce right in front and under the seat with a push pull valve can anyone tell me whitch plugs on it is the high pressure and witch is the return ,shold i come of that or use a external pump the loader has a tank but whitch would be cheaper , thanks for yalls help
 
Depends on whether your "push pull valve" has a knob or a handle. You could mount several different tyoes of remote valves under the seat there. Single, double. single acting, double acting etc. Ford also built a diverter valve with a knob that you could switch between your 3 point or a remote cylinder.
A part of any advice to you would need more info.
What kind of a loader, does it have down pressure, trip bucket or full hydraulic?
The volume of the onboard pump on that series tractor was only a little over 4 GPM. Plenty for a couple of remote cylinders, the 3 point and/or a loader with a trip bucket. But not adequate for a real hearty loader.
