Had a lot of trouble with blood pressure and jaw pain, and I thought the worst.Went to denist in Amarillo. He did a root canal on bad tooth. Now my jaw is ok ,but my pocketbook sure is hurting to the tune of over $1500 plus.Sure wish medicare would cover it.Could have used it to fix up old moline ub special.

No Medicare dosen't cover dental. When President B.O. is done with our medical insurance I dought mecicare will even be available anymore, if so it will come with a high price. Stan

Is the tooth in front or more toward the back? If it's in the front there's some cosmetic value to it. If it's in the back it might not be needed unless a few more are gone, but that's a personal preference that's up to you alone.

I had jaw pain from a dead tooth a month ago. When the dentist gave me the option of root canal or jerk it, it took me about a second to make up my mind. I told him to jerk it! Cost me $250. I went through one root canal a few years ago and that was enough. My insurance doesn't cover dental.

Then he was quoting $850 to put a new tooth back in. I said 'no thank you'. This tooth was in the back so the gap can't be seen.Jim

Just a tip for all you guys with tooth pain out there. Try and save the teeth you have dont just pull them out specially if you have Jaw troubles. The mouth is just like a fine tuned machine if some of the gears start wearing and they dont connect good with each other you are starting to damage even more stuff and at the long run have a bigger problem to deal with.

Hello Ken,
I guess it hurt both ways!.
I figure I'd cheer you up.
Here is a picture of my buddy' MOLINE:>).
It is a 1957 running on propane, and doing very well.
