Extending a 3 pt bale spear

Does anyone have plans or photo for an extension to a 3 pt. bale spear to allow me to load trailers that are higher than the standard 3 pt.bale spear will lift? I would appreciate any help or sugestions of where to look for such a device. I would be willing to make my own if I had some plans or pictures to use for a pattern. Thanks to everyone for their help in this as I don't know where to look or what to search for and if anyone would know where to find I knew you all would.

Might want to look for an old forklift boom, convert it to attach to the 3pt and mount the spear on it. You still will need a fairly heavy tractor to do this to support the boom plus a 800-1000+ lb bale. Other option is a loader on the tractor. I'm afraid the laws of physics will come into play if you try to extend a bale spear out far enough to the rear to gain enough height to load a trailer.

I have seen factory made, but dont know the brand, of bale spears that have a remote hydrolic cylinder on them that will let them lift much higher than the normal bale spear. Tom

There are some out there which use a 'scissors' action and a hydraulic cylinder-center link which will allow you to set a bale....flat, not tilted.....on a trailer or truck; a quick look thru Google Images didn't turn up anything, but I've seen 'em.
