Any recomendations for controling squash bugs? I had them on my pumpkins last year so looked up info and the pictures look like them. This year i noticed the eggs on the plant leafs, I want to kill them before they get "adult" size as I have read there hard shell makes them hard to kill. Do i spray them now with Sevin, or do i wait to see the "nymphs", not just the eggs? I don't want to wait too long and be too late, but don't want to be wasting my time by spraying too early. Any one have any success against these bugs?

if you have eggs then you have adults, start spraying now to stop them, sevin seems to work

Yeah, Sevin works, but it also kills polinating
bees. There are other things that work, but don't
kill bees. Look for Pyretherans,(bad spelling?)
or something that starts with py, on the
ingrediant label.

You need to spray early morning when the flowers are closed or evening after they are closed. I would agree, you should never spray when the bees are pollinating.
