Bought a CASE tractor type forklift,the chart shows to use CASE FDL fluid in the transfercase and transaxle.
What type oil is this? Thank you

Hyd. oil that is use in case tractors. NH 134 would be ok.

Trans-Hydraulic oil that says wet clutch compatible on the container.

FDL is a 90 Wt gear oil as marketed by Case. The later transaxles used a heavy oil also but it was compatible with the new style wet brake transmission It was called Transaxle fluid. Neither of these oils are to be confused with TCH or Hytran ultra which are light viscosity designed as transmission/ hydraulic oils. mEl
