Hey all.

Don"t know if any of you missed me over the last year but I have been a fair bit more scarce in these forums. It wasn"t that I was mad but I have had other things occuping my time.

If you remember I asked about Museums in London back in March for a April trip I took. At that time I didn"t give the full story as to what was going on.

The attached picture should hopefully explain some about my absence.

Yep most definatly is. If any of you are in the London area I highly recomend the trip out to see it. We stayed about a 15 minute walk from the London eye (huge ferris wheel) and this was maybe a half hour of travel via train, tube and bus.

Very cordial people at the museum and a nice chance to see some neat old engines under power. Stuff for the kids and a good cafeteria also.

Four cornish beam engines three of which are operable currently. Largest one (which isn't operating at this time) is capable of pumping nearly 800 gallons of water per stroke. Check the schedule online and make plans to see this place if you are ever in the area.
