More hay problems

Thought I was going to get some unwashed hay in and may yet. Baler broke a belt and according to the book it can be operated for a short time, so I baled about 10 more bales. Then the drive chain jumped off. Going to get repair links tomorrow in case I have to shorten the chain. Chance of showers forecast tomorrow. Allan has the right idea, have a spare baler.

Unwashed hay thats a good one. Ive got 20 acres thats been washed twice since monday with both times the weather guy sayin its only a 10% chance. At least the second washin I didnt have to get wet too.

We've got a 10% chance of rain Sunday, sure hope it turns into 100%. Things dry out fast when temps get over 100 and we've had 4 days in a row of over 100.

I only have an acre for the kids' goats, and the guy who is baling it for me finally was able to get to it this week. Baled it today and we had two lines of storms come through this evening. Glad we were able to get it in. I got 95 bales off the acre, never had more than 54 before this.
