have a ford 8n whats the best way to weigh the front end down when running brush hog front tires light on ground also how much weight should be enough

i have a to-30, very similar tractor. i had same problem got the front tires filled with washer fluid, soooo much better now, five ft brush hog is much safer to handle. made a big difference.

you can get cast weights that bolt inside the wheels also.

I bought cast steel wheel weights for the front end of my Fergie. They bolt on the inside of the rims (2 per wheel) and weight about 50 lbs each. If your front wheels are drilled to attach weights, you could probably find a set somewhere to fit.

I found the best front weight to put on mine when bush hogging is the wagner loader I got.
