Baling Hay finally

Finally got to baling the Farm, started on a nice 5 acre parcel and was doing fair except for that darn sticky Vetch that keeps clogging the pickup on the baler. Was almost done last couple of inside rows and then go pickup the broken bales ( did all my place with a broken bale.) and the pickup came to a dead stop couldn't budge it. took it up the shop and used a pry to move it around an found out why. A spring tooth had came loose and wedges in the side guard Boy was that hard to get out.
Well back to work today onlt about 75 more acres to go.

Hey Walt we may have to take you up on that offer of hay if things dont turn around up here soon. lol. Aint it a bugger when your broke down with hay on the ground. Good luck with the rest of your baling.
 
I've managed to dance around the rain and get about 700 bales in the dry so far. Problem is I should be finished with the 1st cutting by now(hopefully close to 3000 bales). But, even with just the 700 finished, I'm better than most around here, a lot of people are just getting ready to cut the first round. Long range forcast looks good all week, it actually looks like we're going to break this wet cycle. Now if I can just get all the equipment back up and runnin'.....
