Sorry to hear about all the unwanted rain in the heartland, but in Seattle, we missed the "drought" record by 9 MINUTES! Tied the record for May/June consecutive days without measurable precip at SeaTac Airport- 29 days- then seemingly got through the 30th day for a new record. . . but not so fast, there, buddy. The rain guage got measurable amount at 9 minutes to one AM, but records are kept based on standard time rather than daylight time, so it was actually 9 minutes before midnight on the 30th day. Guess we'll have to settle for just tying the record.
