Front mount hyd pump

The front mounted hydraulic pump on my industial Oliver 550 seems to have stopped producing pressure. It will pump oil when I open up a connector, but the bucket will not move up. Can these pumps be rebuilt? Are there kits available?
The pump is a Cesna 15147-105C
Thanks

The pressure relief valve may have stuck open. The key here is if it quit operating near instantly, or just slowly over a period of a month got worse and worse. A quick change indicates grief with the valve. (much easier to fix) JimN

Another cause of a pump moving oil but no pressure available can be a suction hose collapsed on the inside. Sometimes the inside wall pulls loose so it can suck shut but the outside will still look like all is well.

Or the key is sheared on the connector to the pump shaft. Happened to me last year on a Massey 65. I don't know what kind of connection the Oliver front mount pump has, but is was a simple fix for my case.

Cessna hydraulic pumps, made by the hydraulic
division of Cessna aircraft, is an aluminum pump,
with bronze bushings, or sometimes NO bushings,
and the shafts run on a hardened aluminum surface.
I myself would consider them a "throw away" pump,
though somewhere, someplace, there"s probobly a
dealer that would sell parts and assure you that
it"s rebuildable. Lotsa luck! generally these
pumps start to have bearing wear, or internal wear
caused by dirty oil, /// do you have an inlet
suction screen, and a return line filter? as the
bearing wear increases the gears are thrown, by
the output pressure, against the input side of
the pump, and tend to undercut the case.
eventually they will still "paddle"or move some
volume of oil but can"t achieve pressure, due to
the internal wear on the pump.
Repairable, by replacing bushings, undercut
casing, and gears, if tips are cut and worn, and
wear plates, if present, and seals. If you can
get parts, it will cost more as individual pieces,
than a new pump--don"t forget labor--hence the
term: "Throw-away-pump"
