Hi Guys.
I have a Farmall H, been having trouble with the carburetor, the float was bad, replaced it with a new one, service instructions, said to set the fuel adjusting needle three turns off the seat, but the only way I can get the tractor to run is with just one turn off the seat, but I am losing throttle at the high end, what have I done wrong ? or not done ? Thank you for any help you can give me, I have asked questions befor on here, and have got a lot of help from this site, Thanks again.
Ken.

Are you adjusting the high speed idle screw at the bottom of the carb, or are you adjusting the low speed idle adjustment screw (idle mixture) up towards the top of the carb?

The bottom screw gets 3 turns out. The top screw gets 1 1/2 turns out.

Float height also affects air fuel ratio. You didn't mention setting the float height. That adjustment needs to be checked when you install a new float or needle.
