Oil in the radiator 8N

recently looked at a 1947 8N that is in decent shape but with one thing. There is oil in the radiator and oddly enough there is no antifreeze in the oil. The engine has good oil pressure and it runs really well. Do you think this is a cracked block?

The guys wants $800.00 for it do you think it"s worth it? At least e-mail me and give me your ideas on whether the block could be cracked or not.

Thanks

Scott

probably just a blown head gasket, a common problem on those and not hard to change, providing you dont bust off any head bolts, it needs fruther investigation to determine the problem, a crack is a posibility, but id check it out the price is ok for a runner if the tires are fair to good and the tin is decent

pull the plugs and find which cyl.is pumping oil.probably needs an overhaul.oil ring could be broke.

That oil is probably oil that bypassed the rings and got burnt and pushed past a leaking head gasket. Head gasket is easy fix and unless extreamly worn will not be enough oil getting burnt to cause any problems after a new head gasket is installed
