I enjoy seeing things grow but I really like to watch watermelons. Went to the farm yesterday walked the patch. I believe that they tripled in size in two weeks. Whats your favorite?

Tomatoes, the old heirloom ones that have a taste.
For money crop, wheat..nothing like running a combine.

As far as what I like to look at: Rice any time during season and cotton when in full bloom or when fully opened. I like growing bermuda grass for hay.

I like chopping corn on a cool fall day. Espescially when it's over the top of the chopper wagon. Kinda like chopping hay too, and cutting it. Baleing isn't quite as fun though.

Soybeans, I seem to get pretty respectable yields with very ancient equipment. Can't seem to do that with corn or wheat, although baling wheat straw is an added bonus. Kind of like growing two crops at once.

Accross the open prairies of Illinois, corn is king.
