Haying pics-not pretty

Actually remembered the camera and snapped a few pics. This is ground that was really dry, the hay that was there was going backwards, so last thursday I decided to cut it. Forcaster was saying 30% chance of rain over the weekend. They had been saying that for weeks. Well after 1 1/2 of rain over 3 days, this is whats left.

This is after two windrows have been raked together. Oh well needed the rain badly..

At least you got it done and the field is clean for new growth. I'm still waiting on dry weather to cut more.

is that a JD 4455?? jus wondering. The farm i work at has 3 4455's and they look jus like that.
