im going to an auction and i am interested in buying a MF 150. I know it has 45.5 HP. I am interested in buying it and selling it soon. I would use it to tedder and/or rake about 50 acres of hay a year. I would like to buy it for under 3k. Is that a reasonable price? its got a 3pt, live PTO and multipower. The picture of it looks ok. Whats a fair price? i am only buying it if its a bargain.

"Under $3000" is a VERY reasonable price.....if you"re BUYING. But a "reasonable" selling price is more like $4000 to $4500. Long story short, I"ve never seen a decent running 150 sell that cheap. They bring $4500+ and usually closer to $5000 here.

Really rough, barely running 150"s bring $3500 to $4000 here

In case it matters for your use the 150 doesn't
have that much HP. Furnished with 3 diff engines
over the years but the 150 Diesel Nebraska test
is 33.50 drawbar and 37.88 PTO. Chuck

45 PTO HP for a 150? Thought it was more like something in the mid-30s???

Engine HP rated @ 45. PTO is 37.88, same engine(s) as 135.

it sold for 3750. it wasnt pretty but it had 1800 hours and new rear tires.
