For all of you that posted from Wisconsin and Minnesota about being too DRY, come visit the Land of Lincoln! I think your Indian Rain Dance missed by 200-300 miles. Bring irrigation hoses and/or tankers if you need some.

Just got hammered with another cloud burst and looks like there's some behind it. Couldn't even get to my truck a few minutes ago. Hope billonthefarm doesn't have to resort to "catfish and carp" production this year. Wish we could save some of this for July and August.

well it missed me again got about 10 drops last night ,so I'm up too 1" and 10 drops in 2 months,it's dry dry dry. NW Wisconsin

yup im just a little north of you, saturday the wetherman said we weren't gonna get rain till thursday, so i cut hay yesterday. this morning i got up, rainin. supposed to rain till late tuesday or wednesday. well at least the hay wont be dusty. corn is in and up, but boy the ground got crusty. lot of rotary hoes out in the fields this past week. beans went in last week.

We got hammered again. I kept planting even when the radio started talking about all the storms around. You cant tell in the pic but the wiper is on high and there is pea size hail bouncing off the windshield. That was at 7pm. I just came in from the cattle shed and it is raining pretty steady again.

no kidding ran into a big shower while going to my son's house near champaign. We're gonna have alot of beans growing in ponds this year! (if it ever dries up enough to plant 'em

Not trying to be the bearer of bad news. The old timers around St. Lou say that if it rain on the first of the month, you'll have 15 days of rain that month

Guys, Like Roy said down below, Don't hog it all! Load it up on semi's, freight trains or flatbed trailer. We are over 24 inches behind where we should be in this 20 month drought. We can't buy a rain, no real relief in sight as we rapidly approach summer! I dread Aug and Sept. Yalls prayers are wanted and asked for.Thank You.

It seems everything that is intended for us in SE MN is going your way this year. The weather forecast here is RAIN RAIN RAIN RAIN, but it goes South every time. All week the forecast for today was 60-80% chance of thunderstorms, but then this morning, the storms went South again.

Next Monday will be the one year anniversary of the 10"+ storm here so I'm not inclined to complain about missed storms.

It's kind of hard to cut hay when the forecast is nothing but rain though. It's been paying off though for the few acres I've made so far.

Got the rain and about nickle sized hail for a few minutes. Glad the corn is just peeking thru and no wheat this year. Finally gave up on any tillage and for the first time notilled corn. It was in bean ground which is easier for a beginner.
