I just bought a 1969 ford 2000 (first tractor)with a I9-528 loader on it and I"m looking for a manual for the loader and tractor. I think both steering cylinders are bad and I"m try to find out if they can be rebuilt and where the best place to buy parts is.

Loader is a Model 730. You can buy manuals for the tractor & loader on this site. You can also check New Holland Technical publications. They aren't too high on some manuals but on others they are outrageous.

The cylinders aren't normally rebuildable but some cut them apart and replace the worn items and weld them back together. There are two versions: 1/2" rod and 5/8" rod. You may want to upgrade to the 5/8" rod with the loader. I think they are about $200 each.

You should also know the front end of a 2000 is fairly light duty for a loader though many are used as loader tractors. You might want to check the front axle for wear before doing much heavy lifting.

New Holland's website has a parts browser. If you put the model number 19-528 (its a 1 not an I) in the browser it comes back as the frame assembly for a 730 loader.
