New Holland 258 hay rake

I have 2 New Holland 258 rakes in good shape.
Was wondering how much they are worth. I tried
different used iron web sites, but there are
not many to compare to. The rakes are about
20 years old.

Well, it"s hard to say without seeing them and knowing your location. Depending on condition, lowside is $750, high side $2000, give or take. I bought a New Holland 256 about 9 years ago for $750, not a stitch of paint on it, all rust, but no welds. Well, it"s got a couple of welds on it now, and I replaced 5 or 6 teeth, and its rake good for me ever since. I keep waiting for it to blow up, but it just keeps going. Best money I"ve spent on equipment. FWIW.
