Thermostat on 97 Dodge Dakota

Can someone tell me where thermostat is located on above truck? My son's truck is overheating and seem to have most of coolant in system. Was going to check thermostat but wasn't sure where it is located. Thank you.

It's on the upper radaitor hose where it goes into the engine. Make sure he didn't break a fan belt.

Had same problem with my 96 a while back. Could figure out why it was overheating. Levels ok, thermostat ok, belts ok....radiator not ok. 3/4 of it was plugged/corroded on the outside.
