What happened to the post on Joseph Stalin? One person said it was a joke, but I didn't get it. I consider myself a student of Russian history and am very curious about this.

I wrote the thing - After a couple of beers the other night. Churchill is still my favorite historian and his 6 volume account of WWII is worth the read. My post wasn't meant to mean much. And just an offhand reference to the troll, mostly on account of the name. I checked the board about 11 am yesterday and saw a couple of replys to it. Both were rather innocuous.
Came home from work and saw that it was gone. Wondered if someone had posted some crummy thing about it and got it axed.

Thank you for your post on Russian history. I had a famous Russian history professor in graduate school and it is refreshing to see someone is interested in intellectual anecdotes.
