6" of rain last week compacted a lot of our fields, this is what I saw most of the afternoon. Old JD hoe on the back of the Kubota. I hope it comes up.

Since I went through my corn yesterday, seen alot of rotary hoes out here in SE MN.Where are you?

It"s from the combine. Sounds crazy, but I plant beans with the light bar. I planted a test plot on the farm close to this and the seed guy definitely said he hadn"t seen another Kubota with a lightbar planting!! People look at me a little funny that"s for sure.

NW IN. Been really nasty down here. We got lucky and snuck some corn in earlier on some sandy ground that's about 4-6" tall now. But this field just got hammered by last weeks rain. It was really mellow, not anymore. Never had to hoe this farm before.

They work good for weed control also.

don't beleive me try leaving a strip sometime. Or just hoe a strip when you don't need to for emergence. Done at the right time they can work wonders.

I"m disappointed. Just 1 picture.

We"ve got 2 rotary hoes at the farm, but we"ve never used them. May have get them out and play a little.

My corn got dumped on hard last week on Tuesday night and later in the week. Everything "melted" together and I was afraid it wouldn't come up either without a rain. It only takes 1/10 " or so of rain to let the corn come through. Some places I have ran over it twice with the hoe. It was a little wet when I planted it too. I have 150 pounds on each section of rotary hoe as well.
