Elvis tractor!

Back around 1968 my dad and i went to an auction at the elvis ranch.They sold a tractor just like that for 3000.My dad bought a couple pieces of equipment and a cement trail.They sold some plumbing fixtures,bathtubs,etc from graceland.Elis had new house trailers there for his friends to stay and party.I think i still have the sale bill.
 
I was going to NCR school in Memphis in 1967. There was a large machinery sale on Elvis"s ranch one Sat. so I went there were 2 4010"s and a 4020 that sold. I would think that could have been one of them. It was not hard to tell it was a Tax write off.
 
Interesting but there is some very biased and false info about JD on that web page. JD was never the leading manufacturer of farm machinery in the world, maybe in the US but not the world. Dave
 
Unfortunately, CaseIH exists now only as a marketing brand for Fiat. It's kind of like how you go to buy a lawn mower and most of the brand selections (Cub Cadet, Troy Built, White, etc.) are only separated by the plastic they decided to attach to that particular MTD.
