Pressure Washer Recomendations

I am in the market for a pressure washer, at least 3000 PSI and gas engine.
Checked TSC Northern , and Sears Lots of Choices
What do you guys recommend???

Great to spend another guy"s money. I would go for at least 2500psi, and at least 3gpm. Both ratings are important. I have one with a Honda 5.5hp engine. Very happy - great little engine.

Bought a Northern almost 20 years ago, it still operates like new after use in a farrow to finish 60 sow hog operation. It is rated for 4 gallons a minute at 3ooo pounds pressure with an 11 HP Honda engine.

We bought a pressure washer about 2 years ago. Honda GX 6.5 hp engine with a General triplex pump.3 gpm and 2500 psi.Paid $725 with a 50' hose. One heck of a deal. I would not go away from the GX engine and would stick with either a Cat or genral pump. It has just enough power to do it with it turned right up to 2500 psi. I'm not sure how people run them with a 5.5 hp engine.

I replaced my 3 gal per minute(GPM) with a 2.5 pump several years ago on my power washer. BIG MISTAKE Get at least a 3 GPM pump. The Cat pump is top of the line. Like they say, the GPM is just as important as the PSI.

What kind of water supply do you have, well or city, will make a big difference on how much water you can supply it and how long you can use it at a time. I am on a well and not the best making water so I have to watch it pretty close, I have a 2 GPM, 1750 LBS
