Are there streams coming off of these? i'm not much of a lake fisherman, i'd much rather walk a stream.

not really, If you go to the Hill City and Custer area in the Black Hills you'll find several streams with trout fishing.The Deer Creek west of Hill City comes to mind. There's lots of info available In the area, I'm sure you'll find something.
