Last Friday, the day before the fishing opener here. I'm on the freeway coming home from work.
Boats on trailers heading out of town.
Then I see this little boat and remembered the camera on the seat beside me.
I liked it. I wouldn't build one like it. And I wouldn't want to ride out a storm in it. But I still liked it. Older guy driving the van. Hard to get the right aspect on the thing in buisy traffic on the freeway.
It isn't the most wonderful thing I've ever seen on the road but it's the first time I had the camera AND the presence of mind to snap a couple photos.

I got two questions............

1) Where would you have to stand to fish from this boat ??????? On the roof. Be kinda hard to cast out the window.

2) You have a fishing season ??? Is this a open free for all any kind of fish season or does each species of fish have a differant season ???

Well that might be 3 questions........LOL

He did a good job and it looks really nice, but it looks unstable - way top heavy. It wouldn't take much to swamp it.

BTW - you did a good job taking the pics.

John by the name on the side that guy must have come from your neck of the woods.

Chrysler was always known for building big yahts like the Newport. Where do think the idea for mini van came from? Chrysler was in trouble back then too, so to save on development costs, they made the prototype using a boat. I bet that thing would get a good price at the Barret Jackson auction. Was Lee Iacocca driving? He's probably so disgusted with Chrysler he drives a Ford again. Dave
