rear tire sizes, what will fit?

I got a massey harris with original tires that are 13x38. I need replacements bad but cannot afford new. junk farm equipment dealer down the road has a good used pair that are 12.4x38. Would these fit my tractor. What other sizes would fit? Anyone know a good online used tractor tire dealer?

The 12.4 will work fine they're just a little narrower than the ones you have.

13-38 was replaced by 14.9 -38, 12.4 38 is the new version of the old 11-38 tire

And a lot smaller diameter. For the 13" tires I think you have a 44 or 444 tractor, the 12.4 is the size for a 101 JR or a 30, to small to do good work on a larger tractor but you can get them on the rims, like running the compact spare tire on a car all the time. It will also lower your drawbar by at least 2" and ground speed will be cut way down and about 1/2 the traction.
