I was wondering is the water level back up to normal for Yall. I know it's been down for quite a while.

Funny you should ask - the news this am gave reports on lake levels around Dallas. Northwest & west are still down around 4ft. South & southwest had one down 9ft another down 4ft. North - Oklahoma/Tx border 4 - 9 ft. above normal (they"ve had severe thunderstorms for at least 3 weeks now). Lakes to the east are at normal or maybe just a little over.

Last week end the water table at our farm was about 2inches below ground level. James was doing some mowing and the ground was moving around the tractor sort of like he was driving on real firm pudding instead of ground. It was a little freaky.

Lake Lanier this morning is just shy of 6 ft from being at full pool .However the Corps of "Engineers" that control the outflow have already started relasing more water downstream from the lake .Saying at the new rate, water level will start falling 2 inches per week. For my use of the lake they could drain it .When the lake was built ,it covered a lot of pretty bottom land. I for one would like to have the land back for farming .

I was just curious last year lake Marion was down 10ft for quite a while. We had a blast riding four wheelers on the dry lake bed. We also found lots of Indian artifacts, of course we left them right where we found them so they could be covered again with water and no one enjoy them.
