Local junk guy said it was only $90 a ton. I think the high was last year at $260 ?

Seems odd I saw a JD 60 that was at least newly repainted and new decals on RFD and I was surprised they had trouble getting 3500 for it.

Seems as tough might be coming down.

Local yard here just went on shutdown... They don't even want to take anything never mind actually pay for it.
Somebody needs to catch up with the times...

I chuckled when I saw that ad earlier today too Walt. I thought about the LA I bought 2 yrs ago at a public auction for a little more than half of his buy-it-now price and DROVE it onto the trailer. I guess the guy can ask whatever he wants but Im willing to bet that he wasted his time and the amount of his listing fee.

I hauled a trailer load to the junk yard today for a friend of mine that has some apartments. The load included some sheet metal, a car seat, plus two electric stoves, two washers and a refrigerator . They paid $75 a ton for that stuff. So we received just under $50. I was surprised that they accepted appliances as the last time that I went there they said they would not take anything with porcelain.
