Central Illinois Farmers are Running!

Went from Peoria to Lincoln, Ill and saw a few farmers planting Sunday but still a lot of wet ground - corn that was up was kinda yellow (go figure). Was nice today and supposed to be Tuesday, but then we're supposed to have storms again Wednesday and then again Friday/Saturday. Bet billonthefarm won't be taking any pictures unless he wakes up and Wrigley has the camera!

We got back into the fields a little bit tonight here in central Indiana. I ran the field cultivator for a few hours. Some spot were still a bit tacky but we had to go for it. Tomorrow hopefully have some more tillage done, and maybe get some corn in the ground before the rain Wednesday.

Oh yeah, as you can probably assume, I don't farm but do have to scope the country side whenever I get away from work. My older cousin was the one that had the "terrible" truck wreck a couple of weeks ago but is doing better but it's going to be a long time.
Cut some trees, move some horse poop, mow, and go antique tractor pulling during the summer.

Hope I didn't upset MNJoe!
