Oliver 550 weak hydraulics

I just purchased an Oliver 550. 3pt is weak when cold and gets worse and won"t lift a back blade when warm. Any help would be appreciated. What should I check first and so on? Last owner thought that a filter or part was possibly missing in the cover that is under the seat. My first step will be to purchase a manual. thanks for any help

Change hydraulic-transmission oil would be a good start along with the filter. There is a small round breather ontop of the transmission case under the seat.that could be stopped up, causing condensation. The O rings in the lift cylinder could be leaking. Then, of course, the pump could be bad.
The missing part could be a problem.
