Tractor tire pressure question

I"ve got Radial tires on my FWA Massey tractor, but the clamp-on duals on the rear are bias ply tire, i know its not an ideal situation, but I"m not spending money for different tires this year...

Anyway, got the radials aired down to 7psi (front) and 8 psi (rear), as recommended by the tire manufacturers, and the tires work well, lots of grip (last fall anyway), but this spring i want the duals on... how low can i air the bias ply duals down???? right now they are at 8psi also, but now they are taking most of the weight... so can i air them down more until they share the weight of the tractor, or do i have to add some air to the radials to get everything evened out???

Hope to start into the field work by the end of the week here in western Manitoba, some of the fields are a little on the sticky side still...

I would air up the radials some. I know it's not ideal, but we ran the same setup for a few years on our 1855. Last year we put new Bias tires on the inside, and moved the old radials to the outside duals.

So far no problems.

I'd let the bias down to 4-6 psi or whatever will keep them on the wheel, then air the radials up to 10-12 or so.
I've been doing the same thing for 5 years or so. I keep saying that the old radials will get replaced with new Michelins and then the Firestones will go on the duals but the damn firestones won't wear out...

I've broken 2 wheel centers since I started that, but the centers wern't the strongest to begin with and I was carrying a lot of weight besides.
Do keep the clamps evenly tightened and check them often...
