John Deere B stolen

Could anyone give me more ideas on ways
to maybe locate a John Deere B tractor that
was stolen from my family? We have notified
local law enforcement, watching sale ads,
and asked local people. Thought maybe
you guys could suggest something that we
haven t thought of. Thank you.

Also notify a John Deere dealer. They can get it entered into a data base of Deere's. Then if someone should come in to buy parts and give a Serial Number, perhaps they could get caught.

Can you post any pictures on here. Almost every tractor has some unique feature/ding/part that would help identify it . Someone on here might see it.

Good luck! My Mother In Law gave me an MC crawler that belonged to her Father. It was in a garage on his property about 1/2 way between Binghamton,NY and Monticello,NY, had been for years...someone beat us to it...had to cut down a 3-4"locust to open the doors to get it out...the leavings from the chainsaw hadn"t evendiscolored yet! We reported it...been 9 years, still no crawler!

Why didnt you give location description time frame when you posted cause the sooner the word is out the more observant we can become time is important.

Run a wanted ad looking for a B the same year as yours. Indicate you will pay CASH for it. This seller may just have love for money with no paper trail..

Contact the border patrol also. You should see the rag tag collections of junk that come down I35 heading to the southern border. Usually so overloaded they can't do over 50 mph and often times at night.

Perhaps I'm missing something here, but without a year, paint condition etc, you could also ask if anyone saw your cat. Get as much detail as you can, when, where you live so we could perhaps guess the direction of travel etc.

Ther is seldon any antiqu tractors moved through my home town (Garnavillo on HWY 52( that goes without discusion.

Remember the cops have absolutly no idea what a JD B even looks like or even what color the cab or front wheel assist looks like.

Sorry to hear of your issues, and I don't intend to be mean towards you. But we all need _____LOTS MORE INFORMATION___ and we all will help best we can.

Year, styled, paint condition, beauty marks, tire condition, stuck motor, seat condition, how long ago was it missing, tire size, tread pattern, greasy tail feathers? cultivator or loader brackets, wheel weights, cast rears or steel rears, cut offss spoked front and back. SN/ do the rear tires match? Is there a decal with a (B) on it?

If all else fails point to a picture on this web site etc. that is simalar. I've been around old tractors alot, but can't tell the exact year without thinking real hard.

The sooner the better with this information, and we will spread the word fast as we can. Thank You!
