What are yall chargin for small squares delivered? I charged 5 last year and will start out with that this year. Im outside of louisville, ky

3.50 for alfalfa in SD. But everyone is out. Best price is to barn them in the summer, and sell in the winter. I sell about 500 a year to one customer for 2.50 and he picks them up out of the field with his Dad. (I drive the pickup).

(quoted from post at 17:35:12 04/29/09) 6-8 dollars, price went up as supply went down.
3rd cutting looks like cut yesterday, 70 # avg.

Sold out.

That's kinda like give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach him to fish and he'll eat forever.

Hold your stuff and scalp people when they are in a pinch and you'll last awhile, be fair and honest and you'll last as long as your grass grows.

I'm out of hay this year and went to a guy. He asked what I'd pay for a round bail. I said 27 bucks cause that's what another guy was charging, he said OK. When I picked up 3, he charged me 75 bucks. Guess who I buy 50 rounds from this summer............

People complain about horse people alot more than horse people complain about crooks...........

Ever wonder about that???
