First little dog I've ever had.Always had sheperds,boxers he's by far the smartest and has the most personality.He just turned 14 on April 11

Pete dog is 5, a pure bred beagle. My other beagles all made it to 14 or so. Hope Pete makes it as long. He is my buddy and a little turd.

I know what you mean,I have a 12 yr old Black Lab at my feet farting and snoring,I wouldnt be without him on any of my machinery hunts!

I have three beagles: Annie,Sam and Buddy, their pup. He's our overweight misfit--born with a kinked tail, which we had docked, and his testicles never descended,so he's neutered--that will always have a place at our house. He and Sam don't get along, so we keep them seperated. Buddy goes in his night kennel box before Sam comes in.

Jenny is a silky-haired English setter siren that I love to watch run. She covers a lot of ground and slams into gorgeous points. I have 100 one-day-old quail chicks coming in May so we can train on semi-wild birds. That's what most of my foodplots are for--if the deer and rabbits visit them, as long as they're not too hard on the plants, that's just icing on the cake or "the silk on the bride's pajamas."

Jenny is a lot of company on out-of-state hunting trips. I usually drive all night, stopping only for a short nap at a rest area if I get really tired. She's warmth and protection all in one package.
