OT Sure sign of spring

One of my sugar maples in my yard doesn't loose its leaves until it's going to green out. Looked at it this morning and all the leaves are gone from the tree. Yesterday leaves were still on the tree. Spring's coming fast.
 
In the Dallas area, I think we"re skipping spring. Temp yesterday hit 85 and the same today. Yuck! Spring and fall are my favorite seasons.
 
We just finished with two days of snow up here. Ha, Ha, Ha, NOT!!! Forecast to be 79F in Chicago this weekend and it might get to 76F in Green Bay. That's hard to believe. We haven't seen 76 since October. I don't know if we'll be able to stand it. Might have to install the air conditioners. (;>))
 
Snowed yesterday, Friday supposed to be 80. Hate even guess what's next. Now if all of the darned water would dry up and we would quit getting 34 degree nights like last night the ground would warm up enough to germinate seed. Just keep waiting.

Highs in the low 80s for the next five days,little chance of rain before next tuesday. Spring has finally arrived in west Kentucky.

Guess i'll have to hang up the "long johns"! But, sure as i do, the weather man will send another slug of snow and cold weather, and they'll feel good again when going outside! Yes, it snows in April, and once in May, here in Western PA.! Oh, i just remembered, there was a really cold summer hereabouts, way back in the late 1800's! I remember my Grand parents talking about snow around the fourth of July!
 
Heard my first kuckoo today. Probably one of THE first cause I am out morning and night every day. Life is good..
 
One of the first signs of spring around here is when the ChemLawn trucks start through the suburbs.

Mockingbird has been singing around home for about a week now, so spring probably has arrived.
 
fed the wild canaries this morning, was spottin rain, while having coffee, the canaries were on the closeline hangen on as a wet rain/ snow mix was fallin. Good news 78 for a hi and dry this weekend.
