Hydraulic on IH1466 help

I have IH 1466 and I am only getting 2000 PSI out of the couplers in the back. I replaced the hydraulic pump a year ago, manual shows a by-pass valve at 2000 PSI and another at 2500 PSI. I can"t tell what is in it now, I assume a 2000 PSI, is it possible to change the by-pass valve from 2000 to 2500 without damage to something else?

Any help or comment appreciated.

Thanks,

Walt

The pressure rating should be stamped on the end of the valve.

You will be increasing the pressure by 25%. Sometimes the O-ring between the rear frame and the pump cover will blow out.
