what does OT mean?

I hear you there. I work in public works, and sometimes work 60 hours a week with water main breaks or something and dont get over time just comp time/ hours that i can take off. I have a salary job, the way the economy is i wish i could get overtime, but then there are taxes. Seems like a guy just cant win.

It means that the comment is OFF TOPIC for the subject.
TOO BAD a lot of people on this forum don't bother to address their post as being OT. This is rude and waste a lot of peoples time. I guess some have posted so much "off topic" that they consider it unnecessary.

Suspose to be OFF TOPIC.

But the way I see it means ON TOPIC because just about everything going on in the world relates to tractors. Economy bad~can't buy and sell tractors & farmers hurting. Economy good~ That's good for tractors and farmers.

OT= OLD TURDS. This is supposed to be a forum on tractor talk not aches, pains and all the U.S of A whining about the way you have screwed up the world.
Just my opinion, Don from Canada

Anytime I run into internet jargon which I don't understand, I either ask my teenager or do a google search, such as "OT definition". And there is a LOT I don't know.
