O/T Weed Killer

Can any one tell me what dry chemical I can put on my lawn to kill dandelions or broadleafs?. I've used 2-4-D liquid in the past but I want something that won't drift.

Or do they make 2-4-D in dry??

I"ve always had good luck with Weeds Be Gone . Its a liquid in a bottle which connects to a garden hose & you spray the whole lawn with it . One bottle did my 1/2 acre lawn successfully for the summer . Hope that help ! God bless

"Weed and feed" fertilizers have 2-4D in them, don't they? The bonus effect is that you get to mow MORE!

Yes weed and feed is 2,4D impregnated fert. Best if you apply it in the morning when the dew is still on. The granules need to stick to the leaves for the 2,4D to transfer over.

The only good way to get rid of dandelions is to spray them in the early fall. All you will succeed doing now is to burn them back a bit.2-4-D drift will not be a problem in the fall.

Thanks to all for the input. I think I may try for a change the weed b gone on the garden hose.

I put weed n feed on in the past but probably didn't put in one heavy enough.
