Too bad you didn't ask years ago. My dad had a collection from the 1940s until he discontinued the subscription sometime around 1975.

Loved the old Pepsi Cola ads from back then.

Anyway--when can we expect to see photos of the tractor you've made? I'm waiting.

Any link to the article telling of it?

I have often wondered if anybody actually built those Heald kit bulldozers they advertised back in 60's-70's. Obviously 'somebody' did or the ads would have disappeared, but I have never seen one.

Popular Mechanics and Mechanix Illustrated were two great magazines back in the 50's and 60's. You really got your 50 cents worth of reading material. And then for some unknown reason...they became rags...just like 99% of all magazines are today.
