I just purchased a old wards air compressor for $40 bucks and it runs great. it takes about 7 minutes to run up to 105 psi. it says its a 1/2 HP and 1.5 SCFM at 40 psi. it has a 7 1/2 gallon tank, has the motor on top, a belt inside a cage which turns the single stage compressor, its green and seems to work pretty good.
I was wondering if anyone knew of what era this is from? 60's, 70's, 80's ? I only bought to air up car and motorcycle tires which it ought to work pretty good for that task.
