I came home to help out at state FFA convention and did chores tonight and we have one cow that really like to graze stuble fields instead of stay in the pasture....anyways went to get her tonight and she had a calf. I take it you aren't forcasted for the full brunt of this storm moving in?

Just got back from chores. We got there and were looking at everyone and something didnt seem right with one of the cows. Sure enough she had a new calf with her. We watched from a distance and pretty soon the calf jumped up and took his first steps. I told nick seeing that made up for all of those long cold winter days taking care of the cows. Makes a guy smile.

Factory fresh, no charge for the clear coat ! Well lets hope they're done snowin on ya, best time of the year, 'cept for that mud season, we've dried right over here, but been cool at night, still feedin a woodstove at night and putting up wood, going to help the neighbor put in 60 acres of oats, think he wants me to pull the brinley double roller cultipacker, he just picked up a nice drill at an auction, might even see winter wheat again, not seen that here since the '70's. Economy has put all these housing/subdivision projects on hold, maybe there is a blessing in disguise with all this....... good luck with that little guy, he's in good hands !

Well, I'm convinced Spring and Winter flipped this year...had a very mild winter, and have had more snow since March 27th than was did during the winter...and calling for 10+ inches in Denver tomorrow!!! Glad I haven't gotten the pigs yet to feed out for the year.
